I would dearly love to use an i pad or i phone but they do make me feel unwell. I thought maybe it was my imagination, but it has happened when my son has left his i pad on the kitchen bench and I was unaware it was there. I became breathless and felt awful.

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
You are in a unique minority !

Hi Sharynday. First of all what you are experiencing is real and is probably not related to you having a pacemaker.
You sound like a classic case of EHS ( Electro magnetic hypersensitivity ) . Try Googling it, there have been quite a few recent articles on this condition. Some people experience your symptoms when near to mobile phones , wireless routers, I -pads , certain TVs and even fluorescent lighting.
It is not understood why it happens but it is beginning to be accepted as a real condition.
To look on the bright side, think of all the money you will save !
Cheers
Ian
