Smartphones

Does anyone experience problems with Smartphone effecting their pacemaker.

I experience discomfort/interference when too close to a smart phone (particularly androids)

Most people don't

Most people don't have any problem. However, AngrySparrow has indicated she has problems although she attributed it to (I think) an ICD. Maybe she'll be on to comment.

Some people are more sensitive to RFI although they are in the minority. So it does happen.

I've been around some pretty heavy RFI and transmitting equipment with no problems.

Hope they can find a solution for you.

Interesting

sunshinewishes asks some interesting questions.

Another possible explanation is that recent studies suggest that a very small minority of the population are hypersensitive to Electro-magnetic radiation.

The findings are that those minority do develop transient arrythmias when exposed to moderately weak sources of electro magnetic radiation and this would include cell phones. Maybe just androids , who knows.

The more posts I read on here about individual experiences the more I believe " Never say never ! "

We are all different.

I have a CRT-P and my Android Droid Razr M smartphone (or my cordless home phones, for that matter) has never had an effect on my device, and I habitually hold it to my left ear directly over my device. I normally carry it in my left front pant pocket.

What sort of discomfort/interference are you feeling, and how close do you need to be to feel it?

You know you're wired when...

You have a T-shirt that reads “Wired4Sound”.
