Hi
I am new to the club. Please ignore if I am asking the wrong question.
I had a resting heart rate of around 90bpm two months back.I recently started working out and I do treadmill everyday as a part of the daily routine. When running on treadmill,my heart rate goes to a maximim of 173 bpm.
After several days of working out, my heart rate fell to 75,which I thought was proper as Treadmill makes the heart stronger. But I recently found that my heartrate has dropped further to 60bpm.I am now worried if I am running into any kind of problem. Please help.
I dont have any visible symptoms as of now.

I would be very surprised if exercising over 2 months would have such a dramatic effect on your resting heart-rate . It takes years of regular exercise to achieve this.
There must be other factors involved , probably related to your PM settings.

My reading of the OP is that the poster does NOT have a PM and that this is just a general question.
I've cycled for many years and I knew my BP/HR dropped considerably while relaxing in-between periods of intense riding because I would get very dizzy when standing up. But it seems many cyclists on the cycling forum I frequent have similar symptoms, but that doesn't mean they go onto need a PM implant like I did.
60 bpm doesn't seem particularly low to me, I know many cyclists have much lower resting rates than that, but I agree the difference between 90 and 60 over such a short space of time does seem somewhat dramatic.
No Pacemaker

Sorry for the late reply ! I do not have a pace maker yet !
I stopped working out and will see if I can recover.I am worried only because the resting heart rate dropped in two months.I guess I am running into some problem.

I now started feeling diizzy. I know I should consult a cardiologist but I am in a foreign country for my education.I dont know what to do.I am doubtful if I got any genetic heart disease from my parents - both died and have the heart enlargement disease. Please suggest!
You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

Hi!
Without knowing your diagnosis and at least the manufacturer of your pacemaker it's difficult to answer your question. Most rate response sensors learn and adjust automatically to your level of activity. Sounds a bit as if yours has been adjusting a little too much, so that the heart rates you are getting now are too slow. But again, difficult to say without knowing your background. Don't even know if you have the rate response activated. So, with a little more info, we could probably be of more help for you.
