Run 100s

Does anyone know of someone who has run a 100 mile ultrmarathon with a cardiac pacemaker?

..........I am surrounded by ultra runners..Adam does two marathons per weekend and wins them in 2.40...he also has done 10 in 10 and won them all....

Me.. I do lightweight 1/2 marathons and aim to finish..

Here on PM Club there are amazing people who achieve extraordinary things..

Why not include yourself into a group that has not rolled over...?

Don't know anyone personally but why shouldn't you be the first one? Go for it! Btw have you read Scott Jurek's Eat and Run? Vegan ultra runner, great book. Keep us posted, sounds like you are getting ready for an amazing journey.

I've just read your reply to another post and I see that prior to getting a PM six weeks ago , you have done quite a few ultra distance runs .

I am interested to know if you have heart block or sick sinus syndrome because I think that diagnosis determines how well you can run distance after getting a PM

Please let us know when you do your first 50 miler

Ian my current plan is a 50k trail race then a 104 mile bike race two weekends in a row in November. I'll let you know how it goes

don't know if that's you DH but I ran 73 miles last weekend in VT100 before dropping out.
