A solar storm?!

This whole alien pacemaker thing in my chest is kind of wearing off, except for today, when it felt like that little sucker was trying to get born. I have felt like whale crap all day long: fatigue, strong thumps and mutterings from that little techno marvel, very low blood pressure. So, to make a short question shorter. This is a big honking solar storm hitting us right now. It could theoretically disrupt power supplies and such, but my focus is narrowed to that point in my upper left chest. Could it affect little ole me? Anyone have any knowledge, wisdom, cookies to share?

If it's gonna affect little ole you....it's gonna affect all of us. :-)

Actually a good question

Actually I think it's a good question. What about this stuff. I'm pretty sure they never covered it in the hospital.
Per testing done at the University of Michigan, they found that you needed to have a very high wattage of electricity. Then you needed to be within 8 to 10 feet of an EXTERNAL pacemaker. For INTERNAL pacemakers you needed to be within 2 inches.
The electrical stuff going on isn't high enough wattage nor is it close enough to the PM to cause any problems.
Good question though.

I'm 44, active and have had my device for two years. I love it as I can run again and enjoy working out without feeling like I'm an old man.
if they gave awards for stupidity . . .

I think I win for this dumb question, lol. My idle hands have truly become the devil's workshop! I am so glad, Grateful Heart, for your calm and positive answer. I have to remember that there are no stupid questions, only stupid people. Bwahaha!
