I got my pacemaker two years ago and l have lumps around it also they were very soft but now a couple of them feel like small peas. It took almost this whole time for the soreness to go away, I thought it was just scar tissue, it seems like my body didn't like having it in there. I had a mammogram and that was ok but I don't think it goes that high so I am going back to my cardiologist next week and see what they say. I hope it's nothing and I let it go, my mammogram was ok.

How scary for you this must be, Murdock! I'm lucky enough to be bumpless @ my PM site, except for the PM itself, so I really have no words of wisdom for you. I do, however, send you my best wishes as you seek diagnosis. I have ganglion cysts (pea-like) on the tendons in my palm that improve/soften when I rub them and bend the fingers back as my Dr. advised. However, from a bone trauma, I temporarily had some fatty tumors around my lower spine that multiplied and enlarged from me massaging them. Oops! My one advice then, is don't mess with the bumps while waiting to see your doctor. Good luck to you! ~Janenotarzan

You know you're wired when...

You can feel your fingers and toes again.

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!
