Progress

Just back from my exercise stress test. Had a quick check with the PM tech to look at some settings then on to the treadmill. Noticed HR was up however carried and as it became a bit more demanding could feel the tightness etc starting, then guess what, HR went from 136 to 71. yep I was going into heart block, hence feeling just like I did before the PM. So a few more adjustments to stop that, Tech spoke to consultant about what had showed up and what was changed, max tracking rate and upper limit were 2 that I understood. Also asked the question of antiarrhythmic meds, and she said they will get back to me soon.
So no tears and progress!, the OP was the easy bit. Good to feel 1 I wasn't going mad and 2 much more positive.
Still can't get my head round having 1st degree Block 2:1 block and arrhythmias, might understand one day.
Cheers Jane

Jane, I can relate to your comment about trying to get your head around having 1st degree heart block! I daresay none of us really understand how this could be happening to us.

Just remember: electrical problems occur randomly (as far as we can tell) and there was nothing you could have done to prevent or forestall its onset.

Keep up the good work toward getting and staying healthy.

You know you're wired when...

You have a new body part.
