Swelling throat

Hello Everyone,

My fiancee' has just completed her surgery on Tuesday and is still on the road to recovery. Issues she is facing is that she is feeling a swelling discomfort in her throat close to the site of the area. That wouldn't be related to air pocket problem or something more would it? She feels it when she is swallowing and breathing.
