Popping in heart

I have had my pacemaker 5 weeks. I have had the device checked twice. I told the technision when i went about the popping I was feeling and I actually felt it while he was checking my device. He said it was the leads and that he switched something and tgat I should no longer feel it...well it is worse. Sometimes it pops so hard I feel like it shocks me. I only have a pacemsker and the nurse told me that I should not feel anything. I also am still really sore and my left arm gets a sharp pain every.now and then
Does anyone else have this issue and should I be worried?

Can you explain the popping a little more. Where you are feeling it and maybe another description?

Your leads should not be popping.

Does it feel like a strong beat? Do you know what the tech changed?

You may want to check with your Doctor and get to the bottom of it, especially if it feels worse.

I feel it in my heart. It feels like just heavy pulse but more intense.

It is not palpations. It is the leads. The tech told me i felt the leads switching and that he adjusted it so i would not feel it but i still do..

When I had the recent pm put in they told me I might get a popping for some hits to diaphragm. They said it may take some adjustments and to let them know asap. It appears that the amount of charge to the lead can do it and they can also move the lead charge around. Only took a few visits and they had it dialed in. Good luck and it does pay to be the squeaky wheel sometimes. tom
