Do not pull it!! When I had something similar, I was told to snip it as close as possible then put on a dab of antibiotic ointment. When in doubt, ask them to take a quick look at it.

Sutures Coming Out

I think that it is normal for sutures to work their way to the surface. I had a pretty thick suture working its way out on one end of the incision and the EP told me not to pull on it, to leave it alone. Post surgical treatment for me involved putting Neosporin ointment on the incision area twice daily after the steri-strips fell off on day 24. Eventually another suture worked its way to the surface on the other end of the incision. I am 3 months post op and still feel some sharp little bumps like sutures under the skin.

my doc left the end of a sutra come ing out and i hard to get it clipped at my one month . it was irritating me and was helpful to have it removed.
