Rifle Shooting

I had a bi ventricular ICD implanted in March 2014. I have been a competitive shooter in the past and was preparing to shoot again. I am left handed shooter, because I always have had a bad right eye. Now, with implant I am told not to shoot on right Has anyone continued to shoot on left side. Hoping to hear from you

Shooting

I am right handed and my ICD is on the right side. I shoot/shot a lot in the past. I no longer shoot any big bore rifle, but I do shoot my AR after having it tuned with a new recoils system that reduces the felt recoil in a 223 to about the same as a 22mag. You can also reduce felt recoil by changing out recoil pads and possibly porting your barrel. I have also went from Hunting with a rifle to now Handgun hunting and even those I have ported to reduce the recoil. But I was fearful to shoot for the first year. My Doctor also told me not to shoot on the same side but due to other issues I cannot shoot left handed so I needed to do something creative to still b able to shot.
