My surgery went fine yesterday. It took 3 hours as the leads didn't send back the response my EP had expected so they had to put them in different places. Well, that's as much as I could understand when the doctor tried to explain to me when I woke up. But so far so good.
Except for the reaction to sedation drug yesterday and today, I've been feeling fine. My wound doesn't bother me that much and the nurse kept on reminding me to take painkillers to stay ahead of the pain.
I just got home 30 minutes ago. Still dizzy and nauseous. I'm hungry but I can't really take in any food. Still sleepy even though I had been laying in bed and sleeping on and off for the last 24 hours. However, mentally I feel fine! I'm sure I'll be doing better tomorrow.
Just wanna come here to tell you that I'm doing fine, and thanks for all the support and advice. :)

Hi Michelle,
Glad to hear everything went well and you are home recovering! Take it easy these next few days. Get lots of rest and don't overdo. It took me several weeks to really start feeling better. Some days were better than others. Finding this site helped me the most with the mental adjustment.
Take care!

So glad to hear that you're home. Don't forget to put an ice pack on your site intermittently. It will assist with pain and swelling. Even though you're not hungry, make sure to stay hydrated. Keep a glass of something at your bedside to take sips between naps. So glad you're feeling well. I'm four weeks out now and sometimes forget I have my pacer!
