arm soreness

All I can think of is: contact your doctor and ask for a simple xray or even a CT Scan to see if everything is okay. You didn't say what part of your arm. If it is your shoulder, perhaps you have a wee bit of Frozen Shoulder, but I am totally guessing. I guess what I am really trying to say is keep bugging your doctor until you find the answer to your sore arm as in my opinion 5 months seems a bit lengthy.

Any better?

I had arm soreness after my first pacemaker which turned into Frozen Shoulder--finally therapy got it moving again. Try creeping your arm up and down the wall with your fingers--that was the best exercise for me and it helped when I got the second pacemaker.
Make your doc give you physical therapy--they don't want to move the leads but it is not their arms that hurt when you don't move it enough!
Good Luck

Hi
I had mine fitted 2 years ago and I have numbness up the top of my arm hasn't been the same since the pacemaker was fitted.
Ask your consultant advice.

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.
