St Jude Medical Nanostim leadless study pacemaker

I received a pacemaker July of this year, all has been well until I became sustained bradycardic a few days ago, very symptomatic while at the ER.
My pacemaker should correct the bradycardia, right?
Anyone else experience this?

MJ: Good question! I wallowed through the swamp of info on the Nanostim & came away confused about its capabilities. You did not give enough info about your situation for a clear-cut answer - but you INDICATED an answer. There are THREE stated conditions indicating Nanostim capability:

1) Permanent AF with bradycardia meeting standard pacemaker indications

2) Sinus rhythm with low level of physical activity or short expected lifespan (though over 1 year)

3) Sinus bradycardia with INFREQUENT prolonged pauses, clinically or at electrophysiology study.

Only you & your EP know if you fit these conditions. You must have fit them originally to allow them to implant the Nanostim.

But your situation apparently has changed, w/ increased Brady. The way I read the ONLY link I found w/ applicability to Nanostims, I don't think it can help you now - BUT - that is a question only your EP can answer for sure.
