Went to the doctor today for a medtronic testing. The reason my heart pulse goes below the 60 setting is because I like others have an extra heart beat that fools the pulse ometer. Turns out all is working correctly and I accomplished more today than in months pre- pacemaker. Thanks for all the great feedback!

I love it when I realize I can do more now

There are good days and not so good days but I haven't had any bad days since I got my PM 3 months ago. The good days are a revelation - I have much more energy than before.
Funny thing though, the PM didn't magically remove 20 lbs and my bum knees didn't get any better. Apparently all it fixes is the cardiac electrical problem. They need to work on that. While they're at it, I'd like cheekbones and a stronger chin!

A pacemaker suddenly quitting is no more likely to happen than you are to be struck by lightening.
Hang in there

Glad to hear your good news. There's a big learning curve in the first few months with the PM. All the weird feelings and you don't know if something's wrong. Most of the time nothing is wrong. Anyway...
Hang in there. Hope things continue going well for you.
