Sex and warfarin

I put this under exercise. Please help. I'm a female, post-menopausal. Just started new relationship. Sex the other night-blood everywhere-no pain, no problems. I think it was the warfarin as my readings have been up and down. Very embarrassing. Any other ladies with this problem?

In any case

In any case I'd discuss with cardiologist, then gynecologist. Abnormal bleeding is a problem regardless of the reason.

I had a lot of problems with warfarin. Would get small nicks and cuts all the time that wouldn't stop bleeding. Put on a band aid, take it off, and I'd have two new bleeding areas. So for some people, warfarin is dangerous.

Can you switch to other blood thinners? They're more expensive but I don't have the skin problems and bleeding problems I had with rat poison, er, ah, warfarin.

Please get checked out soon.

I agree its very embarrassing. It has remained a problem for me. The only thing that has helped is being very gentle and slow. I wondered if I was the only one. Im sorry for you that Im not.
