I have a CRT-D with an Ef of now 45% ... I walk 1-2 miles every morning on a flat track. My problem is when I get home I am totally exhausted and want to sleep. Sometimes I nap for 30 minutes early afternoon,, but again at around 7 pm I am wiped out. When I go to bed at night I am asleep within a couple of minutes. Any advice.
Thanks

Life does not stop with a pacemaker, even though it caught me off guard.
Very similar schedule

I don't have a CRT-D, just ICD. My EF is around 30%.
I do a one mile walk with the dog (stop and smell everything), then a 1.5 mile walk on my own each morning. I am usually pretty beat by the time I get home, but I have found that if I just do a very easy, slow cool down (walking around in the house) and have a drink of water, I feel better.
I do often take a nap in the afternoon, but I enjoy that and helps me to feel better.
Usually by around 7PM I too am getting tired. I take my medications (nitrates, Beta blockers and others) at night just before bed, so by the evening they are starting to wear off.
It has improved with continued walking. I have done my walking routine for about 4 months.
