..............infections are the miserable risks that go with any hospital visit, and when it comes to pacemaker issues are SO unwelcoming .
In my case the only solution was total removal and replacement on the RH....it seems that even mega doses of antibiotics are not effective.
I feel for you Porkypig....its not as though it would have been in any way your fault...its just bad luck...and we will agree that 'luck' is not an element that we want to associate with medicine.
As Sparrow has said...get out fast !!

Hi, yes I have had very bad experience resulting with 3 pacemakers in 18 months and still have an infection in my chest now. Do you have an infection or are you worried you will get one?
