Defibrillator

I asked the dr if it could be the pacemaker that made my ef go up. He was stunned that it had gone up. My dr reads the echo never heard of a computer reading it. I was at 10 per cent and was being evaluated for a heart transplant. I go to a dr in New York at Colimbia Pres Hospital who only sees patients with possible heart transplants. I also have a regular cardio near my home. To boot, I was told at the time they put the new. Defibrillator in that the one was damaged. I have no idea. My doctor was stunned. I will be on meds all my life, I asked my dr does this mean my heart is stronger. He said yes. I reminfpded him how he always told me that ef was just a number. I have no idea. When I was first diagnosed I went through a 1 hour scary test to see if my heart was viable. I am still stunned.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
