Help

Hi, I had my first PA inserted on 16/0712014 sent home same day, ended up back in hospital with all sorts of pain next day where I was kept in and after 4 days they realised that the lead ahead moved, so they had to operate again on 22/07/2014.
Back home next day, since then I have been so sore round my ribs, dull pain on my right side under my ribs, and an dull pain under left ribs with the occasional stabbing pain, this scare me as that is what I had for 4 days before they realised lead had moved, have to say this is not as bad as the first episode, I am better when I am standing and sometimes I don't feel it for a full day!!
I have days where I am dizzy, and since the op my eye site has gone more blured.

I really was not expecting this at all and although I feel a bit better every day my above pains are still there, is this normal??

If you have any doubts, get checked to be sure everything is ok. However, since you're feeling an improvement each day, it sounds like you're on the road to recovery. It truly does take some time. I was still getting dizzy post PM for 4 or 5 weeks. And my arm and PM site still hurt/are sore 7 months later. All that to say: it's probably normal, although I have no idea about the vision!

Than you for your response, I have gone to my normal GP he had a listen and said it is all part of the trauma, being dizzy is getting better, pains under ribs, are still there on and off but not as painfull,
I am waiting for a tummy scan, as my blood liver result is very high ??I have been getting headaches that just do not go away, my pm is being checked on 5 sept,
Deep down I know that my body is getting better but very slow, so I am being positive and trying not to think too much( it is very hard) but I will get there.
If anybody has had anything like what I am experiencing please do let me know.
