Crtp implant about 4 weeks ago since first programming a week ago been doing great. Then tonite while watching tv heart kicked in like extreme heart pounding mode almost taking my breath. I had not had one of these episode since my crt implant. Has lasted for about 1 1/2hours. Heart not out of rhythm just extreme pounding. Dont have my new box to send in report yet wife wanting to go to er. Whats anybody thinking. I've been energetic and working on house lately but just sitting here hr at 60 but a 60 thats about to blow my head off. Makes me a bit nervous it's lasting so long.

I wouldn't be here if it were not for this amazing technology inside of me.
I'd go to ER

I checked your profile. Showed you had a PM since 2010, also an ablation. Don't show problems with a-fib, but that's probably why you had an ablation.
Any time you have stuff going on and can't get to your cardiologist, I'd strongly suggest you go to the ER to see what's going on.
I was out of the hospital and in a step down facility. Heart rate took off and went up to 140. At ER they diagnosed afib with RVR. I've got medication for it now.
The most important thing is that I was able to get a set of procedures to take when I go into afib and what to do if I go into afib with the RVR. Knowledge is power.
In your case, I'd still take the trip to the ER to see what's going on.
