Polar Bluetooth Heart Rate Mon with it itor

Just bought a Polar Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor and I have a/an Viva XT CRT-D Defibrilator implanted. Has anyone experience any issues with this type of monitors. Is it safe to use?

I use a Polar HR monitor (FT2) and I also have a CRT-D.

Mine is not Bluetooth....it's an older model but I have had no problems with it. It has been pretty accurate for me, even recording a high HR during an exercise class.

There are some others who say it doesn't work for them with their PM's.

If you are concerned, you can check with your device company. They are usually very helpful.
