Does anyone have a Merlin @home transmitter device? I have a new St Judes Generator replacing old pm. They sent me home with the Merlin that transmits signals fom my pm to my Cardiologist office computer.
I am 9 days post op and no problems. Had a little tingling at site for first 2days. Wound healing well. I am taking it easy for 4 weeks to give it time to heal.

I have a Merlin at home transmitter, too. I'm happy to have it! I don't use a cellular adapter, so no experience with that. I'm due to travel soon for the first time since the PM was implanted on 3/28/14. I checked with the PM technician about traveling without it, and was told that would still be fine - especially because I'll be on a boat for at least 50% of my time on vacation! No phone there to transmit with - - - maybe I'll ask about using the adapter while I'm away, and see if that's possible. So far the Dr. office hasn't contacted me to make changes due to what Merlin is sending them. Sounds like your recovery is going well - - I gave myself 6 weeks for initial recovery because I found out that accidentally overusing my arm resulted in pain! Sending best wishes to you - - take care!

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
Yup

I have a merlin at home transmitter. For the most part, I love it. Unfortunately, I do not have a land line and had to opt for the cellular adapter. I've taken it with me in my travels, and had a few days where it did not transmit, but I was unaware until my dr called me. Everyone's is set up differently; mine transmits nightly while I sleep. Occasionally, I'll receive a call from my dr requesting I transmit data during the day..... Easy breezy- just hit a button and listen to annoying beeps for a few minutes. You will know if you have an issue also as the alarm is ridiculously loud:) sending positive thoughts during your recovery
