They are all rated for different depths so you need to find out what yours can handle. I've never dived but my sister goes every weekend and has been bugging me to try it out so I called St Judes. Mine is tested to 7 atmospheres which is about 198 feet in saltwater. Recreational diving around here is generally no more than 120' so I shouldn't have any problems.

manufacturer specific. mine was fine for the pressure, but after I got shocked 5 times in a row for no medical reason the day before my scuba final dive exam, my docs told me I can't scuba.
