good evening everyone. I have searched previous posting but can't find an answer to this question and wondered if you could advise. I would like to buy a HRM which is just a wrist strap and not a chest strap. Budget is around £100 and needs to be compatable with a Dual Chamber PM. Any suggestions?

We are all different. If they will let you try it, that's great.
I had a wrist strap only type that did not work for me.
I have been using a Polar with a chest strap that is very accurate (matches up with a pulse ox meter, beat for beat) the few times I compared it but may not work for all.

I am also looking for a wrist watch type monitor. The Polar FT7 is accurate for me but has a chest strap. I am looking into The Fitbit one and perhaps Basis that are the watch type. I did try the Mio Alpha and watched my heart Rate go down (instead of up) during a spinning class. One explanation I read on the Fitbit site was that you need to wear the watch higher on your arm for accuracy during spinning as your wrist is moving. I did not do that when I tried the Mio. Let me know if you find one!

There is no one that works for everyone so you'll have to experiment. I have not found one that works for me, wrist or chest strap.
