Single chamber Medtronic Pacemaker recipient for almost 7 months now due to 3.14 sec pause and low heart of 33 bpm while sleeping. Sometimes after a little work, feeling exhausted or tired and uneasy or feeling nervous. But, most of the time I'm ok and good.Am I still in a healing period or I'm a little bit depressed?Or a little adjustment or tweaking. My low setpoint is 50 bpm. Very much appreciated any comments and thanks in advance.

Thank you KAG for giving me an idea on how to deal with my pacemaker and my body. I had 1st AV block and intermittent 2nd degree type 1 AV block before pm.average heart rate is 52 bpm and sleep rate of 33 bpm. I will request my EP to give me a copy of my interrogation result. By august is my 3rd pm adjustment and i will raise my concern with my doctor. Sorry I don't know my high setting and RR if on or off.I'm pretty much sure I will always ask question here if ever i have questions or concerns because you all are always there to help all of us. We are all in one big family helping and sharing with each other. Thanks KAG
Hard to say

If you find it is only upon exertion, your device may need some adjusting. I'd start there. Talk to your Doctor.
It takes time for the device to settle in and the body to adjust to it. As time goes by and the swelling goes down, activity changes or our body gets used to the device....many factors, some of us need new adjustments.
We are all different. The PM's come out of the box with factory settings that need tweaking. I've had a few adjustments over the past 5 years.
Your body just knows when something doesn't feel right...and it tells you. :-)

You might try keeping a log of your activities and how you feel. It may help sort it out.
For instance if you feel SOB after exerting can you also measure your HR? A finger pulse monitor works pretty good for this. You give your low rate as 50 but what is your upper rate? Do you have AV block or SSS? That makes a difference in how your PM is programmed. Do you have RR On?
Get a copy of your PM report. It will have all these settings and more on them. You can ask questions here or talk with your Dr.
At 7 months you should be pretty well healed and may need setting adjustments.
You know you're wired when...
You have a 25 year mortgage on your device.

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.
GH Thank you
