3 days post PM implant

3 days post PM op my chest feels like it had mint. I don't feel comfy at all. Does anyone know wat causes this? And what can I do to avoid a complication on with my shoulder as it feels stiff now. Are there any positions I should avoid that could disturb the PM?

Sore?

Had my installed last month. I used the sling when sleeping because I typically sleep on left side with my arm up; the sling reminded me not to do this.
I know that my shoulder and left chest area, where the device was implanted was sore for a few weeks. Especially if I forgot and lifted something I shouldn't or reach up over me head with my left arm.
I was very worried about my shoulder becoming too stiff so I made sure I moved it around, just kept my arm below my shoulder.
I am now 7 weeks into this adventure and my range of motion seems good, but still sore.
Not quite sure what "my chest feels like it had mint." means but hope I answered your question.

Restraing the arm at night but use it during the day

When I had my PM implanted in November, I was advised to keep the left arm below my shoulder for the first 4-6 weeks. I was nervous as I sleep on my left side and often stretch out my arm. So I used a sling and/or an ace bandage wrapped around my arm to prevent stretching. However during the day, my sister, an RN strongly urged me to abandon the sling and move the arm around frequently to prevent frozen shoulder issues. This worked very well.
