Shoulder, arm and neck pains grew worse starting 2nd evening after June 14 , 2014 pacemaker implant for 40's to 50' heart rates. Worsens when rising from sitting or lying down. Feels like muscle or artery/vein moving with pain. Excruciating no matter position. Neither 5mg hydrocodon/ 500mg acemetaphin or Tylenol with codein helps. Oddly Implant site only low grade pain. So whats with shoulder pains where none before surgery?

This is the weekend and answers may be slow. What was the date of implant? How many days has this been going on? You have June 14 as the date of implant. I suggest you get in contact with your doctor now rather than worry. I had a extreme muscle pain in the ribs for just a short time immediately after surgery, but it responded to the pain med. I wold have your pain checked out as zoo as possible.

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didnt slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
