Amusement Parks

Hi all I was wondering what rides you can go on with a pacemaker. Just read something that said no bumper cars....strange.

impact

All they've told me so far is so violent impact, like full-contact football. The nurse described a young woman who got an implant very early in life and since then has played basketball and delivered several babies. Once the surgery has a chance to heal, it apparently takes more than a casual bump to cause a problem.

Bumper Cars

It is the industrial strength magnets which are used in the bumper cars or dodgems which may interfere with the pacemakers and not the actual bumping. All children with PM's are told to avoid.
