Holster

Tomorrow I am going to be set up with the 24 hour holster. Boy, in the last few years, the equipment has really gotten smaller. The first one I had was about the size of a regular cordless phone hand set, and impossible to hide/disguise.

I have a picture of me with my first one. I think I was 3 or 4 (I'm 37 now) I had to push it around in my dolls carriage bescause it was so big.It was the size of the old cassette tape players (that some of the teachers I work with still use) Then in 2cd grade I had one about the size of a walkman. (that was fun bringing it to school) They have been getting smaller. I have used one of the small/new one with my pm with no problems.

Shell, I had those one of also!

I remember my first echo, 1975 or so, was done in the hospital and the computer took up an entire room. Ain't technology grand?

New Monitors

The new ones are not oly smaller, but they can store much more data. My guess is that the thing about them not working well with pacers is just a story to cover their giving you and older one. The new ones work better than the old ones for most any situation.

I keep thinking about building myself one. An 8GB memory stick would hold several days of continuous monitoring.
