Nausea

Hi Everyone,

I've been reading about nausea under the search section, there's a lot. I am 2 months s/p PM. I am having nausea upon wakening, enough so that eating in AM (4AM) is difficult, which I need to do because I won't get a chance to eat til 1 or 2PM. I did not have nausea before PM or after. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. I have no dizziness, sweating or pain. I also have not had any med changes. I do have medication for the nausea, which works but it's adding another medication. Any ideas. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks

Upon rereading your original post, I'm not sure either about what sleep apnea and low blood sugar or high blood sugar would have to do with nausea. Just a shot in the dark about things that make me feel nauseated, including stress lack of sleep, a flu virus, and air bloated stomach from my CPAP machine. By the way my sleep apnea is "severe" with a number of 55! So-- I really have to use the mask. By the way, I think BMI stand for body mass index, and there is a different set of letters for the number of incidents per hour that interrupt sleep. I don't remember what that is. You could try eating 2 wheat thins with a slice of cheese before bedtime and see what difference that might make. You also IMO might want to see a doctor since the nausea could be caused by a lot of things.

Other conditions?

Do you possibly have sleep apnea or a blood glucose problem?
