bumping unit with arm

I have pm/df since August 2013. I have a problem with bumping the side of implant every time I reach up or out quickly.
The pain is quick but bothersome. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I was told the unit would have to be moved to fix problem. Not sure I want to go through another surgery. Thanks for your help.

When I'm at the gym

During certain upper body exercises I squeeze the device. It can be very uncomfortable at times....ok, at times it hurts but I am not having it moved due to exercise movements. I never even mentioned it to the Doctors. Some days it's fine and some days it's not.

On the days when it hurts, I modify the exercise.

Don't know if any of that helped you.

You know you're wired when...

You fondly named your implanted buddy.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
