Wow! Coming Home never felt SO good! ^_^ I spent last night in CCU/Telemetry and only slept maybe 2 -3 hours. It was the classic "I finally fell asleep and they woke me up to see how I was doing" :/ That plus I was in a lot of pain making it difficult to sleep.
When the surgeon came to my room this morning it was a bit of a shock to hear why he kept me overnight for observation. He said that I am much more sensitive than the average person. I've always thought I was but he confirmed it using those exact words. Anyway it seems that yesterday while he was operating... In the middle of the procedure, I moved my shoulder! O.o Indicating that I was in discomfort and . . . I did it more than once! Also while trying to reposition the lead, he said that my heart started to go a little nutso so he stopped to let it rest for a moment and then he tried again it and it flipped out again so he ended up removing the lead completely and then he let my heart just sit there and rest for maybe 10-15 minutes. He also told me that he was beginning to worry that he might not be able to place the lead at all but after allowing my heart to settle down he was able to reinsert it about 2-3 inches from the original position and so far so good. I'm just going to think positive thoughts and when he returns in two weeks, hopefully it will be only Good News :) Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers!
