I had my first implant Feb.11, 2014. Because of my phrenic nerve and pacer wire interference, my stomach was twitching. After 6 months of twitches, many adjustments and tests, we agreed to change the pacemaker with a new improved multi vector wire pacemaker. On Oct. 21st, I had the surgery but when I woke up in recovery , I found out my arties would not accept the new wires. Oct.22nd, they removed the new pacer and implanted the original pacer. They went in between my ribs to attach the wires. That way they could see the phrenic nerve and avoid it. As of today, I am doing great !!! No twitches at all.
My family doctor said I have more wires in my chest then his home stereo. Gotta laugh and be thankful for plan B. :-) Joe

You know you're wired when...
You play MP3 files on your pacer.
