What Don said. If you are otherwise sick, just keep an eye on it. Combined with the a high pulse, I'd probably be want to be seen. If no other symptoms and a fever out of the blue, be seen asap, that's a sign of infection.

I am not planning on letting any of this shorten my life. I am planning on living a long happy battery operated life. You never know maybe it will keep me alive longer. I sure know one thing I would have been dead before starting school without it.
Worried?

ANNA: At midnight on a Sat - I can see why you are concerned. I see that you are 80 yrs old. What do you have causing the fever? Flu? Brand new PM? How long have you had the fever?
I hate to say it, but the 114 HR is a mite high when your base rate is 85. Especially if it is at rest & you are not active. It's flu season, & if you have not seen a Dr. I'd say you should. Your BP of 120/ 74 is great.
If it's a brand new PM - you've gotten an infection& you need to be in an ER right NOW!
At our age (I'm 77) I think you should be in an ER right now, also considering what you told me. Especially if you live alone & there is no one to take care of you.
