I am husband of joyzam and on Christmas eve I got a new St Judes 5820, like the one Joyce got in September.
I just had a 30 day readout and they gave me a copy, as they did with hers.
So I have been working to understand it. First, my AS-VP was pacing at 78% but AP-VP was at 21%. So he made some adjustments that the cardio agreed with to even out the bottom half being overly dependent on the pacer. I am not sure where this adjustment shows as there was only a few adjustments showing in the Initial vs Present columns.
The St. Judes guy did say something about heart blocks and I was not quick enough to ask about that.
Where in this report does it show heart blocks? I did read some about the various types so need to know what kind I have.
They did not take a blood pressure reading and the cardio and an intern he had with him had some discussion about my BP and cardio said I am comfortable with that. So does this report show a blood pressure measurement somewhere or were they talking about my BP from a previous visit in their office?
I only had one episode of 183BPM for 6 sec and St. Judes guy said on a single episode it can easily be a false positive so disregard. I did look at calendar and that was exact time I would have been taking my wife to car and stowing her wheelchair in trunk.
Anyway he cleared me for golf and to resume all activities and said a couple of times I want you to just go on doing exactly what you were doing before.
I would appreciate some tutorial on heart blocks, as I have had an arthrayma and murmur over the past years, which I would consider minor as it never kept me of flying status.
Thanks, Bob
