On Nov. 23, I had surgery and a Biotronix Pacemaker was put in after me practically dying on the morning of the 18th. I feel so much better after going back for a checkup for the second time but, "on and off", I feel this stabbing sharp pain on the RS of the pacemaker, center chest, and it comes and goes for about 5 sec. It is not pleasant, it catches me and makes me feel worry. The last visit at the doctor's office was a success since she shut down the CLS and tone down the strength of the pacemaker. I am very thin on top, weigh 128 lbs, andI would like to build some muscles on top so that my back doesn't hurt at night so much. I sleep on my side usually, and do not know if all of these has something to do with my condition. If this does not go away, I will have to go back to the doctor. The last time I was at the Pacemaker Club, a very nice member gave the suggestion to have them shut down the CLS and that worked for the palpations I was feeling. I do not know if anyone has a suggestion on this one. :)
Thanks,
Gigi.

Regarding two ideas.!

Thank you. I am getting a little concern about this.
I will probably ask today since someone can give me an answer over the phone and I bet you they would want me to come in.
A lot to get use to but we are alive and with our love ones and I want to see my daughter grow up. I want to live and be happy and get old just like everyone else.
"With no wrinkles" if I can. :)
God Bless!!!
Gigi.
You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

Two ideas

First idea. Talk to your cardio/EP people. Ask them if normal feeling. They'll have to make the call. From your description it may be something may be not. Doctor can ask questions and narrow down.
Second idea: Post PM implant you get all sorts of bumps, thumps, pains, tickles, strange feelings. So it may be your body adjusting to the foreign body inside your body. It will just take time.
At first I could feel my PM kick off when it initiated a heart beat. I can feel when the APP (Atrial Preference Pacing) kicks off to stop a-fib. So I get all sorts of funny feelings. Kinda reassuring - I know the PM is working.
Just the same, talk to cardio/EP people to make sure it isn't a problem. Oh, and don't wait. Call right away. They'd rather have a false problem than lose a patient.
Hang in there. Life gets better.
