5k after pm
by wjs1954 - 2014-09-18 06:09:17
First 5k was 4 or 5 weeks after.
I have been running for about 20 or so years prior to getting the PM distances up to Marathon.
well done!

Way to go!!!! If you ran a 5k last night and are doing 10 the day after tomorrow, I'd say you ARE A RUNNER
Great news

and do well in the 10k. it's an impressive accomplishment to finish even if not 1st place. the 17 children in my kindergarten class are quite the workout every school day, perhaps you'd consider adding them to your routine training? {:·))

......................brilliant to see that you are back on your back legs...
5K is a really manageable distance (?).....three miles..you can set off at a pace and hang on.
I do a weekly 5k Parkrun and it serves as a really good indicator when it comes to overall form..
I think, post PM, four weeks, doing decent strong walking would get you back into running.....getting back some form will take some time, but, importantly, getting the trainers on and hitting the road, subject to medical approval go for it.....
If you don't feel good then stop..
Me...??..get back out and feel the wind in your face
You know you're wired when...
You have a little piece of high-tech in your chest.

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!
Awesome!
