I SEE THE METRONIC REP EVERY 3 MONTHS AND THEN THE MD A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER. SO FAR, AFTER 1 1/2 YEARS WITH PACER, I AM DOING OK AND HAVE 9 YEARS LEFT WITH BATTERY. AM TIRED ALL THE TIME AND SOME DIZZY PROBLEMS. THE REP SAID TO NOTE WHEN I HAVE DIZZYNESS AND WHEN I AM TIRED (TOLD HIM ALL THE TIME). NOW MD OFFICE WANTS TO CANCEL MY APPT FOLLOWING THIS REP APPT AND SCHEDULE 2 MONTHS AWAY. THEY WERE DOUBLE BOOKED WITH PATIENTS.
QUESTION: ANY SENSE TO THIS APPT WITH THE MD?? THE APPT IS TO GO OVER THE REP REPORT.
THANKS FOR INPUT.

Sensor inside pacemaker might be an answer

Ask Medtronic to turn on the sensor in the pacemaker. I just had a repositioning, and mine moved to under the pectoral muscle one week ago. I was also having shortness of breath, and fatigue, Medtronic turned on a sensor that is in the pacemaker that knee when I was active and would push my heart rate above 60 so I had energy. So far feel so much better walking, and climbing stairs. See if you have that in your device. Truly feel better energy wise since then.
You know you're wired when...
You have rhythm.

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
Ask for attention

It sounds as though you are not feeling very good (with the tired and dizzy feeling). If so, then you need to have a serious discussion with the doctor. If he is unable to address these issues you have (with a fix or at least an explanation), then you need to find a new doctor. However, you have a responsibility to explain your symptoms and ask for help.
I am tired all the time when I sit around the house too much. I always feel better and find I have more energy (than I thought) when I get out and get active. Just a simple walk around the block does it. However, I know it can be difficult to get out in the winter.
I wish you the best,
David
