Ask your doc at discharge. If you are generally healthy and fit a couple days might be plenty. But you will have restrictions. No heavy duty stuff such as lifting objects or vigorous exercise. Your incision and leads in your heart both need time to heal. Since your surgery is on a Monday you won't be able to do any physically demanding work that week at least. If you are right handed and can avoid any heavy lifting and raising your left arm above the shoulder you could do light duty pretty quick. You don't want to tear loose a newly implanted lead that has just been stuck into your heart muscle. If you did, you would wish you hadn't!!
