First Check-up complete

I just came from the Pacemaker Clinic and all is well with pacemaker. It has only kicked in .4 of 1% and my heart is function as it should with avg. pace of 65 beats.

Tech. said my dizzness and headache have nothing to do with the pacemaker. So I have to go and see the Dr. that prescribe the Nadol and my own family Dr. to change my medication. My own family doctor felt my dizzyness was the meds so cut down a 1/4 tab so as not to step on anyones toes. Well I want to step on toes now. I see the Dr. that prescibed meds Nov. 26 and will try a see my family Dr. next day.

Hopefully my BP will come down now that I am not as stress out.

Tried therapy dogs?

Talked myself into the ER one night as my BP took off after having the PM. The BP kept getting higher and higher and I finally punched the button to get the EMT's to pick me up.

In the hospital they gave me Morphine to calm me down and my BP dropped into normal limits. Then told me I caused my BP to spiral upwards because I was getting more and more stressed out. Then gave me some suggestions in case it happened again. Pushed a little too hard yesterday, gave myself high BP and kicked off a-fib. Don't do it. It isn't worth the hassle. Anyway...

My son's two dogs aren't therapy dogs but I spent an afternoon with them. At one time had one asleep on my right leg while the other was asleep on my left leg. Was rubbing one velvet ear while scratching the other. Both dogs were moaning with pleasure. BP was low that night, I slept good, and couldn't stop smiling.

Do you have anyone in area that has therapy dogs. Maybe you could offer to help train a potential therapy dog. In any case I'm wondering if a cold nose, bright eyes, and a warm heart will help with your stress?

Hope this helps.
