Vertigo

Hello just joined, had my pacemaker 12-5-2013. The last couple of days having bouts of vertigo. Starts room spinning ends up with vomiting and feelings of warm all over feeling almost like hot flash. Has anyone else experienced vertigo with pacemaker?

Glad to have you aboard. There are a couple Metro Atlantans in here.

Vertigo is usually an inner ear balance connected malady.

Syncope associated w/ heart issues is "Lightheadedness," which means your head starts to feel like it's floating & the world starts turning grey & your vision tunnels & you pass out - best described as the feeling you get when they gave you the IV sedative to zonk you for the PM implant.

When did it start happening to you? Ever have it before? This is different, so you need to call your Dr about it. Actually, you should have done it before now.

Any more bouts of it the remainder of the weekend, I'd suggest the ER. If none over weekend, call the Dr. Mon AM.

I am a female thank everyone for concern and comments. It does sound like a mirgraine. My niece has them all the time, did think about that only I do not have a headache at all. Out of no where room will start spinning. I lay down close my eyes and then throw up. Has happened 3 times in the last week after a couple hours will stop then I am good. Just thought might be PM. Will call doctor Monday. Thanks

Thank you
