But I did with the ablation and again with the PM implant. The PM implant was 4 weeks ago today and the bruise is now a very putrid color of yellow/green and goes from implant site right down my side.
Still sore

My PM was put in 5 months ago and I had moderate bruising to my breast. The thing that is concerning to me is that I still have soreness or pain almost daily. My bras rub and bother it as do tank tops and even some clothing. It also seems more painful depending on the type of bra and when the bra is tight or when it is taken off. My PM nurse told me women often have issues with pain because of the breast tissue. Hoping mine settles down soon...the bruising luckily doesn't last long. Ice is your friend.
ice, ice and more ice

My Pm is placed under the muscle, under my breast. My breast was, and still is very sore. I made smaller ice packs by freezing rubbing alcohol and slept with them in my arm pit, as well as larger ones on my chest and my arm. I could not get enough ice. I am almost 4 weeks post op, and still use ice at times. I also use the heating pad too:) i wear a strapless bra still due to comfort. The strap on my left side still causes discomfort.

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.

The left side of my body from my shoulder to underneath my breast was very bruised. I was given conscious sedation, but when he was placing my icd, he had to press so hard it woke me up, and yes it was bruised horribly!
