Magnets

I have a 2 lead pacemaker for bradycardia. I use an iPad whith a magnetic closer, my question is would this cause me any problems and if so at what distants will the problem be noticed? Lately I have been having some dull pain around my left breast. It is not always there, but often enough I have to wonder about it.
Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

Thank you. It is not breast pain but under and around that area. It is like a thump with pain. I did not think it was the pacemaker but did not want to take anything for granted.

I'm on my ipad with magnetic ipad case constantly. No problems with pm, which was implanted 9/2014.

I have a magnetic ipad case. I took it along to a pm check and it did not have any effect. Rule of thumb is keep anything questionable 6" from our device but I read in bed with it propped on my chest all the time, no problems.

Not likely the pain is the pacer, but get it checked out anyway.

there are loads of non-magnetic iPad covers on the market . I have one which is a great design and didn't cost much

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
