Hey everyone, I've been lurking on the site since Monday or Tuesday when I found out I was going to be going in for a replacement. I was at the grocery store on Sunday evening and started getting winded. Thought it was weird so called the cardio the next day. They scheduled me for next Thursday (24th). Wednesday morning I woke up and was feeling light headed, and really winded. I called the doc and they told me to head into the ER. Later that evening (after being transported to Austin Heart) I went into surgery to replace the pacer. I have a St Jude PM2210 with 16 year old leads.

Welcome, hope you are feeling much better now.

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
