Mini-Maze

Hi Gina,
Six ablations has got to be a record. Before you let them do an AV Node Ablation (which is a last resort operation, you need to ask for a referral to a surgeon who does a mini-maze procedure. You may or may not be a candidate however a mini-maze is a more thorough ablation procedure; it is also more invasive and a longer recovery, however for someone who has already had six procedures, I am sure you would just like to get it fixed.
Please check into this before you agree to the AV Node ablation; send me a PM if you have any questions about this. I had a mini-maze a 19 months ago and have had no afib since.
