Had my pacemaker implanted back in August. The incision has never closed around it. Now the doctors said he will give it two more weeks then he will have to take it out and implant another one by the other shoulder if there is no progress. It's been about six weeks now. Anyone else have this problem?

as usual! Find out what's wrong before letting them do the same thing again. Remember the guy who said "keeping doing the same thing and expecting a different result - that's crazy" Sound like your doctor is a candidate for that diagnosis.

I would want to know why it isn't closing up before letting them move it. You don't want the same thing to happen again! Wound care specialists can help figure out why it's not healing, an infectious disease specialist can find out if infection is the cause.
