I was a bit concerned about the heart rates you were mentioning. I've never heard of any PM being set to lower than 60 bpm. Like you, I had Bradycardia with low heart rate. My St.Jude PM was set to 60. Also, if my heart rate rises, the PM lowers it (as I understand). Otherwise, everything else sounds normal. It has only been 3-1/2 weeks since your implant. You should feel a bit better each day. And yes, it is a bummer that you can't raise your elbow above your shoulder for the first six weeks. Heck, I plan to add an extra week or two just to be on the safe side. Don't forget that you should not lift or carry anything heavier than 5 - 10 lbs. You don't want to risk having your leads come out! This is a good time to relax a bit and not overdo things. Take care.
