does anyone have problems with stinging 3 months later at the scar site

I've had my ICD for about 3 weeks now. I just started to feel the stinging sensation. Not sure what thats all about! My scar is healing well and it itches like crazy and the skin around it is dry.

I see we are the same age and both retired. I'm about 5 months post op and still find the scar to be quite sensitive and stingy some days and just fine others. Lately I have experienced some aching in that area by the end of the day. It's been a busy canning time of year and I suspect the aching was a reaction to getting a bit too tired. Lots of new things to get used to is my regular way to handle all these little changes since I see no evidence around the site for concern. Good luck in your getting used to it journey.
