Electric heating blanket

Is it safe to sleep with an Electric heating blanket if you have an ICD.
Need to know pretty soon. would hate like heck to have my ICD go nuts on me in the middle of the night.

No to electric blanket

I was told NO electric blankets when you have pacemaker or ICD or any implant. Nothing electrical.

Just read a hand out from Medtronic ( my brand of PM) and it says Most household appliances are safe to use, including
electric blankets, so long as they are kept in good working order......
